WEDDING RECEPTION
Holywell Estate is delighted to share its newly restored Holywell Walled Garden, offering a truly magical hideaway for up to 250 guests.
Surrounded by perfectly manicured lawns, fruit trees and woodland, you can enjoy your very own secret garden for the day. From a relaxed festival theme to a decadent black tie affair, let your imagination run wild as you add extra touches to design your space – a fun photo booth or a Champagne bar perhaps?
Holywell work with a number of hand-picked and trusted partners, such a caterers and events companies, to offer you the best possible choice.
A TIPI IS PERFECT
If you choose Holywell Estate for your wedding celebrations, you can use our fabulous tipi for your reception. Spacious and stylish, suited to all weather and flexible enough for a wide range of sizes and scales of event.
There’s room for a bar, space for a band, the option of a chill-out area, a dance floor and a beautiful dining room. We can help style your tipi to suit your wedding theme and there’s plenty of additional outside space to incorporate into your wedding plan.
A STUNNING VENUE
As well as providing an idyllic space for your wedding reception, Holywell Estate offers a wealth of characterful nooks like our beautiful bothy and period porch. The sweeping drive provides a dramatic welcome and your big day will be set against panoramic views and charming historical features.
There are a host of photo opportunities and hand picked areas for additional seating or quirky touches. Everything you need for a wedding that makes wonderful memories.

THE WEDDING CEREMONY
We are now licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and can provide the seating and space for those, or for a beautiful blessing, humanist ceremony or celebrationary gathering so if you’d like to incorporate this into proceedings – no problem.
If you are beginning with a wedding or church service elsewhere, we have plenty of room for the wedding car and guests to sweep in. We’ll ensure everything is meticulously prepared, exactly as you want it so you can arrive without anything to worry about, and get straight on with enjoying the company of family and friends.
The walled garden worked perfectly for us. It is a beautiful setting and such an inspiring space to make what you want of. Bryonie was on hand the whole way through and her expertise helped tremendously.
